Mr Robert Lofthouse

Mr Robert Lofthouse

Mr Lofthouse trained at Cambridge and in London and was a Research Fellow at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA (1997-9). He was appointed as Consultant at Torbay Hospital in 2002.

Mr Lofthouse's interests are hip surgery including primary, complex and revision hip replacement, hip resurfacing and hip impingment surgery, and knee surgery, including arthroscopy, primary, complex and revision knee replacement and unicompartmental knee replacment.

He has a special interest in computer-aided and minimally invasive joint replacement surgery.
