Mr Mark Ashworth
Mr Ashworth trained in Oxford and was a Fellow in joint revision & sports medicine surgery in Adelaide, Australia (1998). He was appointed as a consultant at Torbay Hospital in 1999. He advises the Health Care Commission in relation to patient complaints.
His interests include primary, complex primary and revision joint replacement of the hip and knee and resurfacing of hip joints and unicompartmental knee replacements. He also performs hip arthroscopy & surgery for hip impingment; knee ligament reconstruction, joint realignment osteotomy and cartilage regrowth.
He has an interest in chronic leg pain (compartment syndrome)
