Joint Horizons is a team of eight specialist orthopaedic surgeons working in Torbay who are committed to providing excellent Orthopaedic care for people with acute and chronic problems, sporting and work related injuries.

Joint Horizons treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems affecting the the upper limb, lower limb and spine. We offer all the latest surgical treatments available including traditional joint replacement of the hip, knee, shoulder and ankle, surface replacement of the hip and shoulder, complex arthroscopic sugery of the hip, knee, ankle, as well as shoulder, elbow and wrist.

Through Joint Horizons' clinics at Mount Stuart Hospital, Torquay, patients have access to the full range of investigations and orthopaedic treatments as well as allied health care services such as physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetic, pain management and medical rheumatology consultation.

Where the GP, therapist or patient expresses a wish to see a particular surgeon a traditional 'private referral' to the named surgeon is made.

Where the referrer or patient is uncertain as to who is the most appropriate surgeon, generic referral is encouraged and Joint Horizons will provide the most appropriate surgeon in the time frame requested.

Joint Horizons work together providing cross cover through the year so that there is always someone available to help.
